Car parts

Have you ever wondered what makes your car go "vroom vroom"? Well, it all begins with the engine. Engine is like the car the car, as it provides the car with power to move. Now to the inside of the engine, there are tons of different parts that work in unison like some sort of sports team to make it all work efficiently. Read on to find out.

That piston is a very special piece of the engine. The piston is a roundish piece that rises and falls inside one section of the engine, known as the cylinder. The power comes from a mixture of fuel and air that enters the cylinder and undergoes a small explosion. This explosion creates energy, which pushes the engine and the car itself forward.

A step-by-step guide

Also an important section of the machine is a spark plug. The spark plug is a small device that creates a spark. The fuel plus air in the cylinder is ignited by this spark. It creates an explosion when a spark ignites the mixture, yielding energy. This energy is what gets the engine to work. If we did not have the spark plug, the air and fuel would not combust, and therefore the engine would not run.

Brakes are essential in any car as they allow the driver to slow down and stop as required. A tiny but important part of the brake system is Brake Pad. The brake pad is a substance that squeezes onto a part called the brake rotor. If the brake pad presses against the rotor, the spinning wheels of the car stop or slow down.
